A leading global technology and cyber security consultancy is looking to hire an experienced Zero Trust Security Lead to drive enterprise-scale security transformation programmes across major client environments. This is a senior leadership opportunity focused on shaping Zero Trust strategy, leading large-scale security architecture initiatives, and acting as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients. The role combines technical leadership, stakeholder engagement, and business development within complex transformation programmes.
The Role
You will lead the design and delivery of modern Zero Trust architectures across users, applications, devices, networks, and data. Working closely with senior client stakeholders, security teams, and delivery functions, you will define security roadmaps, oversee implementation programmes, and help organisations transition toward cloud-native, identity-centric security models.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic design and implementation of enterprise Zero Trust architectures aligned to business and security objectives
- Develop enterprise-wide security blueprints, standards, and reference architectures based on Zero Trust, SASE, and SSE principles
- Design identity-centric security controls including SSO, MFA, conditional access, segmentation, and least privilege access models
- Drive modernisation of legacy network and remote access architectures toward cloud-native Zero Trust solutions
- Lead deployment and optimisation of technologies such as Zscaler, Netskope, Prisma Access, or similar platforms
- Oversee integration of Zero Trust solutions with identity providers, SIEM/SOAR tooling, endpoint security, and cloud environments
- Conduct architecture reviews, threat modelling exercises, gap assessments, and security strategy workshops
- Lead proof-of-concept exercises, vendor evaluations, and technical validation sessions
- Provide senior technical leadership and mentoring across architecture and engineering teams
- Support client engagements, executive presentations, and strategic security advisory initiatives
- Partner with internal leadership and sales teams to support business growth, solution development, and client expansion opportunities
Required Experience
- 10+ years of experience within cyber security architecture, engineering, or consulting environments
- Strong hands-on and strategic expertise across Zero Trust, SASE, and SSE security models
- Deep understanding of technologies such as Zscaler ZIA/ZPA/ZDX, Netskope, Prisma Access, or equivalent platforms
- Strong knowledge of identity and access management, Entra ID, Okta, SD-WAN, endpoint security, and cloud-native architectures
- Experience leading large enterprise security transformation programmes
- Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders and executive leadership teams
- Experience managing cross-functional delivery teams within large enterprise or consulting organisations
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical security concepts into business value
Desirable
- Zscaler or other leading SASE/SSE vendor certifications
- CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent cyber security certifications
- Cloud certifications across AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Networking certifications such as CCNA or equivalent
- Experience contributing to business development, proposals, pre-sales, or client growth initiatives
