A global technology consultancy at the forefront of cloud and digital transformation is looking for a senior, new business-focused sales executive to drive growth across the UK Insurance market. This is a pure hunter role, focused on originating and closing large-scale, multi-year transformation programmes for major insurers. You will lead complex sales pursuits that combine advisory, platform modernisation, cloud infrastructure, and managed services, working alongside established industry, architecture, and delivery teams.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven new business sales track record within the UK Insurance market
- Proven track record of consulting sales
- Experience closing large, complex enterprise deals (not just account farming)
- Strong background selling cloud infrastructure or enterprise technology services
- Comfortable engaging and influencing senior decision-makers
- Deep understanding of insurance clients, buying cycles & market dynamics
- Strong commercial acumen (deal structuring, pricing, negotiation)
- Ability to operate in a matrix environment while owning outcomes
- Disciplined, driven, and focused on closing revenue
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and deliver against a significant annual sales target (>5m P/Y of new business)
- Build and maintain a high-quality, revenue-aligned pipeline
- Originate new opportunities across UK insurance clients and net-new logos
- Lead complex enterprise sales cycles end-to-end
- Engage senior stakeholders including CIOs, CTOs & C-suite
- Shape deals around client drivers, risk, and commercial outcomes
- Define deal strategy, structure, and pricing approach
- Work closely with solution, delivery, legal & commercial teams
- Navigate internal governance to drive deals forward at pace
- Contribute to account growth strategy and long-term client value
