We are currently supporting a leading technology and consulting business in the search for a Senior Business Development Executive to drive new business growth across the UK Insurance market. This is a senior, growth-focused sales role, responsible for originating, shaping and closing complex cloud and infrastructure transformation opportunities within insurance clients. This opportunity is suited to an experienced enterprise sales professional with a strong hunter mindset, a proven track record in new business acquisition, and an established network across the UK Insurance sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver against annual sales targets through pipeline generation, forecasting and deal closure
- Originate new business opportunities across UK Insurance accounts and prospects
- Lead complex sales cycles from qualification through to commercial negotiation and contract close
- Engage senior client stakeholders, including C-suite and executive technology leaders
- Shape commercial opportunities by understanding client priorities, challenges and investment drivers
- Work closely with internal delivery, solution and commercial teams to develop competitive proposals
- Contribute to wider sector growth strategy and account planning
Experience Required
- Proven track record in new business sales within the UK Insurance market
- Must have Insurance sector experience and existing market relationships
- Strong experience selling consulting, cloud, infrastructure or managed services solutions
- Experience originating and closing complex enterprise-level deals
- Strong commercial capability across deal structuring, pricing and negotiation
- Comfortable operating in complex, matrix-led environments
- Strong stakeholder management and executive engagement skills
