A leading global technology and consulting organisation is looking for a Security Consultant to join its growing Public Sector & Defence practice, supporting some of the UK’s most critical and complex digital transformation programmes. This is an opportunity to work alongside industry-leading security specialists on large-scale projects across Healthcare, Central Government, Defence and wider Public Sector environments. You’ll play a key role in designing secure enterprise solutions, advising on cyber risk, and helping shape the future of secure digital services across the UK.
You’ll work within a highly collaborative security consulting team delivering innovative solutions to high-profile clients. The environment offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies, complex transformation programmes, and the chance to work with some of the best security professionals in the market. This role would suit someone passionate about cybersecurity, secure architecture, and improving the resilience of critical UK services.
Key Responsibilities- Design and review secure architectures across enterprise and transformation programmes
- Provide security consultancy into complex IT and digital initiatives
- Advise clients on cyber risk, governance and regulatory compliance frameworks including:
- ISO 27001
- NIST
- GDPR
- PCI-DSS
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and risk management
- Experience working with security architecture and enterprise solution design
- Knowledge of technologies such as:
- IAM / IDAM
- Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Network Security
- Encryption technologies
- Hands-on exposure to Cloud Security and/or Network Security
- Security certifications such as CISSP, SABSA or equivalent
- Existing UK Government Security Clearance (SC/DV)
