About the Company
Our client is a Big 4 professional services firm whose Transaction Services team is the largest service line within their Deal Advisory division. Operating across Private Equity, Financial Services, Capital Markets, Mid-Market and Corporates (including Energy & Natural Resources, Life Sciences and TMT), they work with organisations of all sizes across the full M&A lifecycle in a collaborative, high-growth environment where people are genuinely encouraged to use their voice.
The Role
We are recruiting for Managers to join several teams within Transaction Services across the UK. You will draw on your Financial Due Diligence experience to manage and deliver end-to-end workstreams, act as a trusted adviser to clients, and play a key role in growing the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading Financial Due Diligence workstreams end-to-end across a variety of deal types and sectors
- Interpreting complex financial data to generate insights and construct clear recommendations
- Identifying deal implications from due diligence findings and clearly articulating the 'so what'
- Acting as the key day-to-day contact for clients and advisors
- Overseeing cost management, recovery rates against budget and invoicing
- Reviewing and quality-checking team outputs to ensure consistency
- Collaborating across the wider business to deliver a joined-up service to clients
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong Financial Due Diligence experience; sector specialists welcome across PE, FS, TMT, Life Sciences, Energy & Natural Resources
- Ability to direct high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams
- Confident providing advice and technical insight directly to clients
- Effective project management across multiple stakeholders
- Flexible and adaptable approach to changing deal requirements
- Experience managing upwards and reviewing output for quality
Nice to Have
- Capital Markets experience
- ACA / CFA or equivalent professional qualification
