Ready to take ownership of cloud cost across large-scale AWS environments? We’re looking for an AWS FinOps Specialist to join a high-performing team driving cost optimisation and cloud efficiency across secure, mission-critical programmes.
What you’ll have the opportunity to do as an AWS FinOps Specialist:
- Driving cloud cost optimisation strategies across AWS environments, identifying and delivering measurable savings
- Working closely with architects and engineering teams to ensure cost efficiency is embedded in solution design
- Leveraging AWS tools such as Cost Explorer, Budgets, and CUR to monitor and manage spend
- Building forecasting models and financial reports to support budgeting and decision-making
- Engaging with senior stakeholders to align cloud usage with business strategy and financial goals
- Implementing FinOps best practices, including cost allocation, governance, and optimisation frameworks
- Supporting organisations on their cloud migration journey, ensuring cost-effective adoption
About the Candidate:
The right AWS FinOps Specialist will have:
- Experience in AWS cost optimisation / FinOps / cloud financial management
- Strong understanding of AWS services, pricing models, and cost tools
- Background in cloud engineering, DevOps, or architecture, with a cost-focus
- Ability to translate complex technical cost data into business insights
- Experience working with stakeholders across engineering, finance, and leadership teams
- Comfortable working in regulated or secure environments (desirable)
