Delivery Lead We're working with a leading global technology and professional services organisation that is looking for an experienced Delivery Lead to join its growing UK team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex technology transformation programmes, helping major organisations solve real-world challenges across highly regulated environments. You'll operate at the intersection of business, technology and delivery, working with Product Owners, Project Managers, Business Analysts, SMEs, developers and wider stakeholder groups to design and deliver effective technology solutions.
The Role
As a Delivery Lead, you'll be responsible for helping teams successfully navigate the delivery lifecycle from understanding business needs and requirements through to solution design, development and implementation. You'll be expected to: Work collaboratively with Product Owners, Project Managers, Business Analysts, SMEs and technical teams.
Lead and support delivery teams, including mentoring and collaborating with junior team members.
Translate complex business requirements into actionable design and delivery documentation.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Manage relationships and delivery expectations across internal and external stakeholders.
Apply Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies depending on the needs of the programme.
Analyse data to support informed decision-making, system design and delivery outcomes.
Adapt quickly to new clients, technologies and delivery environments.
Build strong, collaborative relationships with external clients and customers.
Contribute across different stages of the technology delivery lifecycle.
You'll ideally have: 2–3+ years' experience working across project/programme management, solution design, development, QA or related technology delivery roles.
Experience delivering complex technology solutions, ideally involving Cloud or SaaS platforms.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Practical experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
Experience using delivery and project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Excel and MS Project.
Experience using Generative AI and/or Agentic AI tools such as Copilot, Claude or AWS Q within technology delivery.
The ability to understand business requirements and turn them into practical design and delivery outputs.
Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to manage delivery upwards.
Experience working with multidisciplinary technology teams.
You'll stand out if you also have experience with: Functional and non-functional analysis and design.
Software architecture principles and integration patterns.
Secure systems and technology design.
Highly regulated environments, particularly
healthcare, public sector, defence, security or public safety .
DevOps technologies such as
Git, Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes .
Cloud platforms including
AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud .
Working as a subject matter expert across specific technology platforms or tools.
Complex, multi-disciplinary delivery environments.
