A key player in the UK defence sector is expanding its Wireless Products team and seeks an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to drive RF and high-speed hardware for mission-critical deployments. This role offers hands-on impact on next-gen wireless tech for government partners, in a dynamic, start-up-like environment tackling extreme challenges from underwater to space.

As an Electronics Design Engineer, you’ll lead PCB and circuit development for secure wireless systems, ensuring robust performance in harsh global environments. Collaborate with physicists, mathematicians and engineers in small agile teams to prototype from first principles.

What you will be doing:

  • Core PCB design (RF or high-speed) with circuit design and component selection as daily focus.
  • Develop hardware for UK Government/trusted partners in challenging deployments.
  • Immerse onsite in secure facilities, advancing end-to-end prototypes rapidly.
  • Tackle technical challenges in signal processing, FPGAs and RF tech.
  • Contribute to 150+ growing team with high retention and development ops.
