As a Lead Electronics Engineer, you will play a senior technical role in the design and development of high-power electronic subsystems, working on next-generation technologies used in defence, aerospace, and security applications. Based in Great Baddow with a hybrid working model (2-3 days onsite), this role offers the opportunity to act as a technical authority, guide delivery teams, and support the growth of advanced electronics capability within a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

You will have the opportunity to:

Your Responsibilities:

As a Lead Electronics Engineer, you will:

  • Supervise and review technical work produced by engineers across the team
  • Support system definition, trade studies, and design decision-making
  • Engage with customers and partners to clarify technical requirements and constraints
  • Contribute to bid responses and programme definition from a technical perspective
  • Promote best practice engineering standards and continuous improvement
  • Mentor junior and graduate engineers in a collaborative environment

Key Requirements:

As a Lead Electronics Engineer, you should have:
