We are partnering with a global technology and consulting organisation that works at the intersection of strategy, innovation and engineering to solve complex business and societal challenges. With thousands of specialists worldwide, they support clients across sectors including public services, financial services, defence, healthcare, energy and transport.

They are now looking for an Infrastructure Support Engineer to join their UK-based infrastructure team, supporting secure, technically rich environments.

The Role

This is a hands-on, office-based role supporting business-critical systems. You will act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues, ensuring environments are secure, reliable and fit for purpose. Due to the nature of the systems, occasional on-call and weekend work is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain Azure cloud environments, including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
  • Manage M365/O365, Exchange, virtual platforms (VMware Horizon/Hyper-V), Group Policy and SaaS backups
  • Support network and infrastructure systems, including firewall management
  • Troubleshoot incidents, security vulnerabilities and implement new technologies
  • Produce clear technical documentation and work closely with wider IT teams

About You:

  • Strong experience supporting Azure-based infrastructure (AVD essential)
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft cloud, virtualisation and enterprise infrastructure
  • Confident troubleshooting in pressured environments
  • Strong communication skills and able to work independently or as part of a team
