Im currently working on a new contract opportunity within the Defence sector for an experienced Security Solutions Engineer. This is a hands-on opportunity for a Security Solutions Engineer with strong security and infrastructure engineering experience, who enjoys working across both cloud and on-prem environments and is comfortable working directly with clients.

Whats on offer:

  • 69 month contract
  • 40 hours per week
  • Frimley + UK client sites
  • Currently around 12 weeks on site per month
  • International travel required

The role:

As a Security Solutions Engineer, youll support the design, deployment, configuration and improvement of a range of security solutions and infrastructure. Youll work across areas including:

  • Cloud, on-prem and virtualised infrastructure
  • Containers and containerised platforms
  • Network security, routers, switches and VLANs
  • DNS and identity management
  • Security tooling deployment and integration
  • Linux administration, package management and scripting
  • Infrastructure sizing and technical requirements
  • Testing solutions against functional and non-functional requirements
