A leading defence organisation is looking for a Bid Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to support one of the UK's most ambitious future combat air programmes. Working across the UK and international partners, you will play a key role in developing business-winning propositions and shaping future defence capability.
The role:
- Manage multiple concurrent bidding activities, coordinating technical, programme, commercial and finance stakeholders.
- Develop compelling and deliverable proposals that balance customer requirements, technical solutions and commercial considerations.
- Support product business cases, roadmaps and investment plans to strengthen future bidding campaigns.
- Work with senior stakeholders to respond to changing customer requirements and improve the probability of winning major programmes.
Weβre looking for:
- Experience in project management, bid management, contract acquisition or business delivery.
- Direct experience managing or contributing to technical or engineering bids.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Ability to solve problems quickly and make sound decisions in an ambiguous environment.
- Defence or aerospace experience would be advantageous.
Package:
- Β£50,000βΒ£56,000 depending on experience
- Hybrid working, 2β3 days per week on-site in Stevenage or Bristol
- Company bonus up to Β£2,500
- Pension contributions up to 14%
- Up to 15 additional days of Flexi Leave
- Paid overtime opportunities
