Product Manager – Contract
- Location: Leeds (1 day pw onsite)
- Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35)
- Contract: Initial 6 months
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the delivery of user-centred digital services within a complex public sector environment. You will play a key role in defining product vision, managing priorities, and ensuring services deliver measurable value to users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the product backlog, prioritising based on user needs, business value, and technical constraints
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (design, engineering, delivery) to deliver high-quality digital services.
- Engage stakeholders to shape product strategy, roadmap, and delivery outcomes
- Use data, insights, and user research to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
- Lead the product lifecycle from discovery through to live, ensuring successful service outcomes.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Product Manager within the public sector.
- Strong experience delivering digital products in a healthcare or health-related environment.
- Experience working in Agile, multidisciplinary teams
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Ability to balance user needs, technical delivery, and organisational priorities
Desirable:
- Experience working on large-scale digital transformation programmes
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and analytics platforms
- Experience working with user research and data-driven product decisions
