Our client, a growing digital consultancy, is looking for a Principal Product Manager (Data) to join their expanding Data and Product capability. Working across a variety of public and private sector engagements, you’ll lead the strategy, delivery and evolution of complex data products and platforms that help organisations unlock greater value from their data.

As a senior leader within multidisciplinary teams, you'll combine product strategy, stakeholder management and data expertise to shape roadmaps, influence investment decisions and drive outcomes for clients operating in complex environments.

As a Principal Product Manager (Data) you will:

  • Lead product strategy for complex data products, platforms and services
  • Define product visions, roadmaps and priorities aligned to business goals and user needs
  • Guide multidisciplinary teams through discovery, validation and delivery activities
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and influence strategic decision-making
  • Work closely with Data Engineers, Architects and Analysts to shape valuable data solutions
  • Drive outcome-focused product management through KPIs, OKRs and measurable success metrics
  • Support business growth through bids, proposals and early-stage client engagements
  • Coach, mentor and develop Product Managers across the wider practice

Key skills required for the Principal Product Manager (Data):

  • Extensive experience delivering data products, platforms or services within consulting
  • Strong background working alongside Data Engineering teams and modern data platforms
  • Experience defining product strategies, roadmaps and product investment decisions
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data modelling and data governance principles
