The Opportunity: This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cloud Engineer (AWS) to join a high-performing engineering team working on cutting-edge cloud platforms. You will be part of a DevOps-first environment, building and operating secure, scalable systems in AWS. Teams are empowered, autonomous and close to end-users, giving you real ownership and the ability to influence technical decisions.
What They’re Looking For:
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.)
- Experience solving complex technical or business problems
- Scripting or coding (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation or CDK)
- Version control (Git or similar)
- Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments
Nice to have:
- AWS certifications (Associate level or above)
- Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS)
- CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.)
- Microservices and API-driven architecture
- Monitoring, observability and cloud operations
- Linux and networking fundamentals
Due to the nature of the work, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance and willing to go through the clearance process if not already cleared.
