We are supporting a global technology services provider in the strategic expansion of their Google Cloud Data and AI practice, with multiple opportunities available for experienced professionals across architecture and engineering. This unit is driving major transformation initiatives with flagship enterprise clients, focusing on intelligent data platforms, AI-driven analytics, and scalable cloud-native solutions.

This is a strategic and hands-on opportunity for an experienced Data Architect to lead the development of a robust, scalable data architecture on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You’ll be responsible for defining the platform strategy, leading a team of data engineers, and ensuring high standards of data quality, compliance, and performance across enterprise-grade data environments.

  • Design and implement enterprise-level data architecture strategies on GCP.
  • Gather client requirements and translate business challenges into scalable data solutions.
  • Act as a trusted expert on GCP data and AI solutions, both internally and with client stakeholders.
  • Design and deliver scalable architectures across data lakes, pipelines, AI/ML models, and real-time analytics.
  • Build reusable assets, accelerators, and frameworks to drive project delivery and consistency.
  • Lead a team of data engineers through implementation phases, ensuring alignment to architectural best practices.

Proven experience working with Google Cloud (GCP) on major data or AI transformation projects. Proven track record in designing and maintaining large-scale data warehouses and data lakes. Expertise in GCP data services including BigQuery, Composer, Dataform, DataProc, and Pub/Sub. Strong programming experience with Python, PySpark, and SQL. Hands-on experience with data modelling, ETL processes, and data quality frameworks. Proficiency with BI/reporting tools such as Looker or PowerBI. Experience in alternative cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, or AWS. Understanding of DevOps/DataOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools. Academic background in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
