Excellent opportunity for experienced IT team managers to join one of the UK's largest most dynamic IT MSP's. It's the perfect time to be jumping on board with lots of exciting projects ongoing in the public sector working with critical national infrastructure systems. This role is very much a people management role but technical skills and knowledge will help along the way.
What you'll be doing:
- Serve as an escalation point for junior engineers and ensure protocols are followed and key issues are escalated to the right team.
- Coach and mentor your team of 4 - 8 engineers.
- Ensure smooth handovers between teams from days to nights.
- Foster a positive working environment promoting a continuous learning ethos.
- Communicate with customers to ensure SLA's are met.
What's on offer:
- Salary up to £37k - Depending on experience.
- £11,100 shift allowance (total comp = £48k).
- Flexible working after onboarding.
- Shifts - 7-7, 4 days.
