AWS Solution Architect – Up to £90,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Hybrid (UK-wide, with occasional client site travel)

Join a top-tier consultancy delivering cutting-edge cloud solutions to some of the most complex and secure environments in the UK. We’re looking for an experienced AWS Solution Architect to help design, shape, and implement cloud-native architectures for high-impact programmes across government and regulated sectors.
As an AWS Solution Architect, you will:
- Lead the design of scalable, secure, and resilient AWS-native solutions
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand technical requirements and translate them into architecture blueprints
- Engage in the full lifecycle of cloud projects – from discovery and definition to design and handover
- Provide thought leadership and guidance on best practices in AWS architecture, security, and networking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including platform engineers, developers, and security specialists
- Contribute to proposal development and pre-sales activity as needed
We're looking for someone who is:
- A specialist in AWS services, with strong knowledge of core platform, networking, and security capabilities
- Experienced in architecting cloud-native solutions – not just migrations
- Comfortable in a consulting environment, with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Likely from a Platform Engineering background, but also comfortable reading and writing code (Python, Bash, Terraform, etc.)
- Familiar with CI/CD practices and Infrastructure as Code
- Capable of guiding clients through cloud adoption, with an understanding of what successful delivery looks like even at the early stages
- Eligible for UK Security Clearance (must have been a UK resident for at least 5 years)
Desirable Skills
- Experience working in secure or regulated environments
- AWS Certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate/Professional)
- Understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure cloud design patterns
