Join one of the UK\’s leading cyber security and defence consultancies as an AWS Solutions Architect, where your work will directly support the nation\’s digital security. This is a high-impact role focused on designing and delivering AWS-native solutions for complex cloud transformation programmes across government and national security clients.
As an AWS Solutions Architect, you\’ll collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and development teams to shape and implement modern cloud architectures using AWS best practices. You\’ll take ownership of cloud migration patterns, drive automation using Infrastructure as Code, and champion re-usable, scalable designs across multi-account AWS environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture and technical delivery of AWS-based migration and transformation programmes
- Define and document AWS architecture patterns, reference models, and deployment standards
- Work closely with engineering teams to build repeatable, automated solutions using Infrastructure as Code
- Conduct architectural reviews and ensure cloud solutions remain aligned with business goals and security requirements
- Serve as a key escalation point during complex technical challenges or incidents
- Promote collaboration, tooling standardisation, and DevOps best practices across projects
- Influence cloud strategy and policy through deep technical leadership and architectural governance
What We\’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in AWS architecture and cloud migration projects
- Expertise in multi-account AWS environments, cloud-native design, and security best practices
- Strong knowledge of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Understanding of AWS security and networking services
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
Package:
- £70,000 – £90,000 base
