Join a rapidly growing consulting division within a globally trusted technology powerhouse, delivering cutting-edge cloud transformation for some of the UK’s most critical sectors. We’re looking for an experienced AWS Solutions Architect who thrives in a client-facing, multi-stakeholder environment — someone who understands how to design cloud-native platforms at scale, and who can work across engineering, architecture, and business to bring cloud strategy to life. This role is ideal for professionals coming from Big 4, digital consultancies, or boutique firms who want to apply their cloud expertise in high-impact, secure, and large-scale environments.
What You'll Do
- Lead the definition and delivery of AWS architecture strategies for large-scale cloud adoption and migration projects.
- Design and document target cloud architectures, reference models, and reusable deployment patterns.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to automate cloud deployments using Infrastructure as Code, driving reuse and consistency.
- Act as a technical escalation point for platform challenges, troubleshooting and refining AWS environments.
- Champion modern DevOps and CI/CD practices across projects.
- Drive architectural reviews and continuously refine cloud platform strategy in line with emerging AWS capabilities.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to align business objectives with technical solutions.
Your Background
- Experience designing and delivering AWS cloud solutions at scale, ideally across complex or multi-account environments.
- Strong consulting experience — either from a Big 4, boutique consultancy, or transformation-focused delivery team.
- Hands-on experience with AWS security, networking, and core platform services (IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and DevOps tooling (Git, CI/CD, etc.).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — confident engaging with both engineers and executives.
- Previous experience in cloud migration or platform modernization programs.
- An appreciation of secure cloud design principles and risk management in regulated or high-impact environments.
Why Join?
- Be part of a tight-knit cloud consulting team with access to some of the UK’s most mission-critical projects.
- Shape cloud platforms that matter — across national infrastructure, public sector transformation, and defence.
- Enjoy true hybrid working, flexible arrangements, and a culture that balances performance with well-being.
- Access strong benefits, including a generous holiday allowance, private healthcare, training support, and more.
If you’re passionate about building cloud-first architectures in high-impact environments — and want to join a consultancy-backed division that’s modernising how cloud services are delivered — we’d love to hear from you.
