We’re hiring an AI Engineer to join a high-impact GenAI feature team building production-grade AI applications used at scale across a large enterprise environment. This role sits at the intersection of hands-on engineering and strategic delivery, with exposure to senior stakeholders and real influence over how AI capabilities are designed and deployed.

You’ll act as a senior individual contributor: setting technical direction, mentoring junior engineers, and helping shape agentic AI solutions from concept through to production.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing, building, and deploying agentic AI applications using Python and modern LLM frameworks
  • Working hands-on with Large Language Models, including evaluation, prompt optimisation, and applied reasoning patterns
  • Contributing to the technical direction of GenAI initiatives, acting as a subject-matter expert within the team
  • Collaborating closely with product, engineering, and platform teams to deliver scalable, secure AI solutions
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insight
  • Reviewing code, mentoring junior engineers, and promoting strong engineering and AI best practices
  • Ensuring solutions are production-ready, with appropriate testing, observability, and security controls

Requirements:

  • 3+ years minimum of commercial experience
  • Strong, commercial experience with Python
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience delivering Agentic AI solutions
  • Experience working with LLMs in real-world applications
  • Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with senior technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have:

  • Experience building AI solutions in regulated or enterprise environments
  • Exposure to AWS services (e.g. Bedrock, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch)
  • Knowledge of data engineering or MLOps concepts
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and containerised deployments
