Aerospace Defence Management Consultant Overview
We are seeking a skilled Management Consultant to join our high-performing team, focusing on large-scale transformation initiatives within the Aerospace and Defence sectors. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex projects with defence organizations, aerospace manufacturers, and Tier 1 suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage workstreams or modules within larger transformation programmes in the Aerospace and Defence sector.
- Design and implement target operating models (TOMs) to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to convert complex business challenges into actionable solutions.
- Support project delivery through effective programme management, governance, and risk management.
- Facilitate client workshops focused on problem-solving, innovation, and requirements gathering.
- Contribute to the development of proposals and enhance internal capabilities.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in the Aerospace and Defence industry is essential.
- Background in consulting or relevant industry experience with a focus on transformation programmes.
- Strong expertise in at least one of the following areas: Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Quality, Programme Delivery, or Digital Engineering.
- Proven ability to engage with stakeholders and manage workstreams effectively.
- Understanding of technology-driven transformation, including digital, data, and systems.
- Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
- Willingness to travel to client sites across the UK.
