The Opportunity
We’re working with a leading global technology and consulting organisation that is looking for an experienced Technology Delivery Lead / Technology Project Manager to join its growing Health & Public Service team at Associate Manager level.
This is a senior delivery position focused on owning complex technology transformation programmes from end to end, working closely with major public-sector clients and multidisciplinary technology teams.
You’ll take responsibility for delivery across the full lifecycle, combining strong project and programme management with enough technical understanding to engage confidently across areas such as architecture, technical design and implementation.
What you’ll be doing
- Taking ownership of end-to-end delivery of complex technology transformation projects.
- Driving delivery to agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards.
- Managing multidisciplinary and geographically distributed technology teams.
- Developing and managing detailed delivery plans across design, build and implementation.
- Managing risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Working closely with clients to manage expectations and ensure delivery remains aligned to business requirements.
- Building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
- Working across Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban, as well as Waterfall where appropriate.
- Providing functional and technical expertise throughout delivery.
- Working closely with technical teams across areas such as Technical Architecture, Solution Architecture, Business Analysis and Technical Design.
- Managing project governance, stakeholder communication and delivery reporting.
- Supporting the development and management of team members.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for an experienced technology delivery professional who has already taken ownership of complex projects or major delivery phases.
You’ll ideally have:
- Strong experience managing technology projects or programmes across the full delivery lifecycle.
- Experience managing projects through design, build and test.
- Proven Agile delivery experience across Scrum, Kanban and/or SAFe.
- Experience managing budgets, risks, dependencies and programme governance.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and, ideally, line management responsibility.
- Strong client-facing and senior stakeholder management experience.
- The ability to operate confidently across both the delivery and technical sides of a project.
- Experience working with technical teams across areas such as architecture, technical design or software delivery.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience delivering technology transformation within complex environments.
Experience within public sector, health, defence or other highly regulated environments would be advantageous, as would Cloud/SaaS experience or relevant technology certifications.
You’ll have the opportunity to lead significant technology transformation programmes for major public-sector clients, working with multidisciplinary teams across a global technology organisation.
This is a role for someone looking to take genuine ownership of delivery, develop trusted client relationships and operate at a senior level across complex technology programmes.
Please note: The role requires eligibility for BPSS and SC security clearance, including the required UK residency/address history and specific nationality requirements.
