The Opportunity:

Take your engineering career to the next level by supporting a high-profile Air Defence programme. As part of the Platform Communications Team, you’ll provide critical through-life support for the Platform Data Link Terminal (PDLT)—a key subsystem within this advanced defence system.

The Role:

As a System Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the continuous evolution of cutting-edge defence technology. Responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting analysis and generating reports on new technologies to enhance system capabilities
  2. Engaging with stakeholders and collaborating with technology specialists
  3. Supporting the delivery of advanced weapon systems to UK and international defence partners
  4. Challenging existing processes and driving improvements

To excel in this role as a System Engineer, you should have:

  1. Strong experience in network communications and system integration
  2. Proven ability in engineering product delivery and technical problem-solving
  3. Familiarity with defence or secure communications environments
  4. Hands-on experience with test and validation methodologies
  5. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
