Strategy & Transformation Consultant – Defence & Security
Location: London (Hybrid)
Up to £65,000 + benefits + DV Bonus

The Role
As part of the Defence & Security team, you will work alongside industry specialists to provide consulting services to key clients, leveraging your expertise to drive insightful analysis and strategic decision-making.
With each successful project, you will gain increasing responsibility, leading key project workstreams and delivering tangible results. Your work will focus on supporting organisational change, managing critical projects, and engaging with complex technologies to help businesses and government agencies enhance their services.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and delivering complex strategy and transformation projects for Defence and Security clients.
- Conducting in-depth research and analysis to provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
- Designing and facilitating workshops and stakeholder meetings to drive engagement.
- Producing high-quality reports and presentations that clearly articulate findings and solutions.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Identifying and mitigating risks while identifying opportunities for innovation.
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- Supporting business development initiatives, including proposal writing and client presentations.
- Helping clients evaluate strategic options and make informed investment decisions.
- Driving innovation by exploring new technologies such as AI and automation to enhance policy delivery.
- Translating strategy into action by guiding clients through change management and implementation.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a strategic role focused on analysis and future strategy development.
- Consulting experience or relevant industry expertise in Defence, Security, or the wider Public Sector.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- The ability to work independently on a workstream while contributing to a broader team project.
- A structured, analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex issues.
- The capability to thrive in rapidly changing and ambiguous environments.
- Experience working on projects involving strategic decision-making and transformation.
- A proven track record of building strong client relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Active DV Clearance
