The Opportunity:

For the UK Government, safeguarding National Security is an around-the-clock mission. To tackle the complexity of this challenge, central intelligence and military agencies turn to this technology firm as a trusted partner.

The Role:

You’ll support the E2E delivery of a critical MoD network infrastructure programme – creating secure network designs, producing detailed configurations, and leading governance reviews with precision.

Beyond design, you’ll take a hands-on approach to technical configuration, implementation, and seamless service handovers, ensuring networks are secure, scalable, and future-ready.

• Sole UK National holding active SC and/or DV (Developed) clearance.
• Over 10 years of networking experience, including 3+ years in design or architecture roles – ideal for Network Design Engineers progressing into architecture.
• Expertise with Cisco and Juniper technologies, capable of producing high- and low-level design documentation.
• Certified in networking fundamentals, such as CCNA, CCNP (Cisco), and JNCIS-ENT (Juniper).
• Advanced knowledge of WAN protocols (MPLS, BGP, IS-IS) and secure networking (IPsec, GRE, encryption).
• Hands-on experience with Juniper products (SRX, MX) and JUNOS OS, alongside expertise in LAN switching with Juniper EX and Cisco switches.
• Proven skills in network operations, troubleshooting, and managing the full networking lifecycle.
• Strong communication abilities for client-facing roles, leading meetings, reviewing documentation, and ensuring smooth service transitions into operational use.
