Salary: Β£37,000 - 68,500 per year
Requirements:
- Around 5-8 years commercial software engineering experience
- Strong Java development experience
- Strong AWS experience
- Full-stack experience with TypeScript, JavaScript and React is highly desirable
- Experience with modern software development practices and CI/CD
- Comfortable working in Agile environments
- Strong understanding of software design, development and testing
- Good communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients
- Consultancy experience is desirable, particularly experience delivering bespoke software solutions
- Must be able to obtain UK security clearance
- Current SC clearance is preferred, although clearable candidates may also be considered
- Must be based in the UK
- Sponsorship is not available for this position
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and test bespoke software solutions
- Build scalable applications using Java and AWS
- Work across the full stack, with TypeScript, JavaScript and React highly desirable
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab
- Deploy applications across public and private cloud environments
- Work within Agile development teams
- Contribute to technical design and architecture decisions
- Work closely with clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Support software through implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement
