We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Kotlin Developer to join a growing digital consultancy delivering transformative digital solutions for a range of Public and Private sector clients. Working within multidisciplinary teams, you'll design, build and deliver scalable digital services that solve complex business challenges.
As a Senior Full Stack Kotlin Developer, you'll combine hands-on software engineering with technical leadership, mentoring engineers while delivering high-quality, user-centred solutions across the full development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities as a Senior Full Stack Kotlin Developer
- Lead the development of user-centred software solutions.
- Design, build and maintain scalable applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver digital services for clients.
- Take ownership of development and deployment pipelines.
- Build and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Mentor and coach engineers, promoting technical best practice.
- Present solutions and technical progress to stakeholders.
Experience you'll need as a Senior Full Stack Kotlin Developer
- Strong commercial experience with Kotlin, Java and the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework and microservices architecture.
- Exposure to Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js or Nunjucks.
- Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Terraform and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Experience delivering scalable, high-quality digital solutions.
- Consultancy, Government or NHS project experience.
- Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging systems.
- Knowledge of Helm.
