As a Strategy & Transformation Consultant or Manager, you will work closely with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to shape strategic direction, develop practical solutions and drive meaningful organisational change.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support strategic transformation programmes across defence, security and wider public sector organisations.
- Assess existing business operations, organisational structures and service delivery models to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct research, analyse complex information and develop evidence-based recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Design and facilitate workshops, stakeholder sessions and collaborative activities to establish priorities and build consensus.
- Develop business cases, strategic proposals, presentations and reports that communicate findings and recommendations clearly.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and senior stakeholders, providing insight and guidance throughout project delivery.
- Evaluate strategic options and support investment decisions, operating model development and transformation planning.
- Help organisations adopt digital innovation and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, resilience and service delivery.
- Identify project risks, dependencies and opportunities, ensuring potential issues are addressed proactively.
What we are looking for from you:
- Experience in strategy, business transformation, operating model design or a related strategic advisory role.
- Background in consulting or relevant industry experience within defence, security or the wider public sector.
- Demonstrable experience analysing business challenges and developing recommendations to support future strategy.
- Knowledge of target operating models, service design, organisational change and digital transformation.
- Experience delivering complex transformation or operating model projects within UK public sector environments.
- Understanding of both Agile and traditional project delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex issues and develop practical solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings and recommendations to senior audiences.
