A global consultancy operating in the insurance space is looking for a Snowflake Infrastructure Specialist to support their Infrastructure Delivery team. The role is focused on platform and infrastructure engineering within Snowflake, working closely with DevOps and data teams to deliver a secure, scalable, and automated environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage Snowflake infrastructure with a focus on security, scalability, and automation
- Implement and manage Snowflake RBAC, including roles, users, warehouses, and grants
- Automate Snowflake object deployments (databases, schemas, roles, warehouses)
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake deployments
- Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Ensure compliance with security and governance standards
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues
Required Experience
- Strong hands-on Snowflake platform/infrastructure experience
- Proven experience with Snowflake RBAC
- Solid Terraform experience managing Snowflake resources
- CI/CD pipeline experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Strong understanding of IaC, automation, and DevOps best practices
- Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
