Solution Architect - Active SC and NPPV3 Required
£660 per day | Inside IR35 | 6-month contract | Hybrid
Who you'll be working with
You'll support a major government digital programme, designing and delivering secure digital services that support policing. This is a hands-on role working closely with architects, engineers and delivery teams.
What you'll be doing
- Designing solution and application architectures across multiple digital products.
- Working with engineering teams to develop practical, scalable and secure solutions.
- Supporting AWS cloud architecture, APIs, integrations and microservices.
- Defining non-functional requirements covering security, resilience and performance.
- Contributing to DevOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code approaches.
- Providing architectural guidance throughout the delivery life cycle.
What we need
- Proven Solution Architecture experience in complex digital environments.
- Essential government, policing, law enforcement or security-sensitive domain experience.
- Strong application architecture and integration design skills.
- Experience working closely with software engineering and delivery teams.
- Understanding of cloud architecture, security and non-functional requirements.
AWS, Terraform, CI/CD and experience with national policing systems or LEDS are highly desirable.
Contract details
- £660 per day, Inside IR35
- 6 months, with potential extension
- ASAP start
- Hybrid: 1-2 days on-site
- Clearance: SC and NPPV3 required
