The role will suit someone with a strong background in banking operations who understands how physical cash moves through a bank, from branch networks into central operations and across wider business entities. What you'll be doing as a Cash Management Consultant: Assessing how cash moves across branch networks, central operations, subsidiaries and other parts of the banking organisation. Mapping the end-to-end cash life cycle, including cash processing, reconciliation, inter-entity movements and cash-in-transit arrangements. Reviewing existing processes, controls, systems and operational hand-offs to identify gaps, inefficiencies and dependencies. Designing the future-state operating model, defining process ownership, roles and responsibilities, governance and controls.
