We are seeking a Finance Business Partner. In this role you will support the financial and operational performance of the business by acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders. The Finance Business Partner will provide insightful analysis, constructive challenge, and guidance to drive profitability, improve decision making, and support strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the production, development, and ongoing enhancement of budget and forecast P&L models and associated reporting.
- Own and operate financial models for budget and forecast cycles, ensuring they remain fit for purpose as the business evolves.
- Interpret financial performance, identifying risks, challenges, and opportunities.
- Drive improvements in forecasting accuracy through robust assumptions and challenge.
Business Partnering
- Partner closely with operational and commercial leaders to understand cost drivers, margins, and performance.
- Provide insight, guidance, and challenge to ensure operational decisions are aligned with financial objectives.
- Act as a trusted finance advisor, supporting decision making at senior management level.
Reporting (Shareholder & Board)
- Own the delivery of financial reporting to shareholders, including but not limited to:
- Annual Budget and 3 Year Business Plan
- Quarterly Financial Reviews, including re forecasts
- Board Reports
- Ad hoc reporting on key issues, risks, and opportunities.
Performance Analysis
- Support the Head of Commercial Finance on strategic initiatives and key business projects.
- Deliver analysis and commentary on sales and margin performance, including product, customer, and regional analysis.
- Provide ad hoc and proactive analysis to influence commercial and operational decisions.
- Support departments in developing business cases for capital and non-capital investments, making recommendations on approvals.
- Review and analyse proposed rebates and promotions, ensuring financial clarity, control, and alignment with business objectives.
Management Information (MI)
- Lead the centralisation of MI, covering both financial and non-financial information.
- Deliver MI to Directors in a cost efficient, clear, and easy to use format to enable rapid decision making.
- Support continuous improvements in reporting processes, financial controls, and forecasting accuracy across the finance team.
Pricing Strategy
- Lead the development and execution of pricing models to optimise profitability while maintaining market competitiveness.
- Provide financial insight and analysis to inform pricing decisions.

- Professionally qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA)
- Experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Finance Business Partnering roles
- Experience of working cross functionally
