This established technology organisation combines extensive industry expertise with cutting-edge innovation. Due to continued growth, my client are looking for a talented Senior Hardware Engineer, who will have a critical part to play in their end-to-end product development journey. This role spans the entire hardware development cycle - designing cutting-edge solutions, developing and testing prototypes, and collaborating with production teams for seamless product launch. You'll also play a key role in developing graduate engineers, sharing your expertise to develop the next generation of talent. This unique opportunity offers the best of both worlds - pacey, globally impactful work set against a backdrop of serenity, with the Cairngorms on your doorstep. Please note that this role requires onsite working, so relocation is essential. Sorry, but unfortunately Visa Sponsorship is not available for this opportunity.

Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of advanced test tools for global clients
- Contribute across the full product lifecycle: from initial concept/design, developing prototypes, validation and production handover
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, reliable products for the world's major tech organisations
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers
- Help shape and evolve the future direction of the hardware development team
- Play a key role in driving innovation and continuous improvement within the hardware development function
About You:
- Solid experience in developing hardware products, including circuit design and schematic creation
- Product lifecycle experience, an understanding of what it takes to design and create a robust product for market
- PCB layout skills
- Mentorship/coaching capabilities
