We are looking for caring, reliable and motivated Support Workers to join our growing team. You will provide person-centred support to individuals living in our supported living services, helping them develop their independence, confidence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing person-centred support tailored to individual needs
- Supporting service users with daily living activities and personal care where required
- Supporting with medication in line with care plans and policies
- Preparing meals and encouraging healthy eating and hydration
- Supporting individuals to access the community and participate in activities
- Providing companionship, reassurance and emotional support
- Encouraging independence and supporting individuals to develop life skills
- Building positive and respectful relationships with service users, families and colleagues
- Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns
- Working collaboratively with the wider care and management team

Requirements
- Previous experience in care or support work is preferred but not essential
- Compassionate, patient and respectful approach
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to undertake training and professional development
- Commitment to promoting independence and dignity
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- Must be willing to undertake a DBS check
