The role
As a key member of our Data Centre Team, Data Centre Operatives are on the front line, managing day-to-day operations and ensuring exceptional service for our customers. This role is primarily focused on executing moves and changes within the data centre campus. Responsibilities include the physical relocation and installation of servers and associated hardware across our facilities.
This is a fixed term contract, and a night shift position, operating on a 4-on, 4-off schedule. The rota includes weekends and bank holidays.
What will I be doing?
- Taking part and adding value to project work
- A duty to escape and communicate work halting issues if no solution is available
- Taking care of deliveries and all goods in
- Meet ticket and task response SLA’s
- Work with a large percentage of deployed hardware
- Cabling and testing ability
- General Housekeeping duties
What will I bring to the role?
