The role is highly technology-led, combining venue operations with hands-on use of VR systems, booking platforms and customer management tools. It would particularly suit someone who is confident with technology and enjoys working in a gaming, immersive or digitally-driven environment. With ambitious expansion plans, this role offers clear progression into multi-site or regional leadership for the right candidate.

- Recruit, train and lead a high-performing on-site team
- Act as the on-site business leader, driving standards, culture and performance
- Oversee VR sessions and undertake basic technical troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation
- Liaise with the franchise provider on system updates, gameplay changes and operational best practice
Commercial & Performance Management
- Manage day-to-day commercial performance of the venue, ensuring strong revenue delivery and efficient operations
- Drive bookings, utilisation and overall performance
- Monitor commercial KPIs (occupancy, revenue, customer feedback, repeat bookings)
- Prepare and present a monthly performance review pack, including KPIs, insights and actions
- Develop and execute initiatives to maximise revenue (groups, parties, corporate events)
Marketing & Growth
- Own and execute local marketing strategy in Edinburgh
- Lead social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)
- Create engaging, high-quality content with team support
- Build partnerships with schools, corporates and local event organisers
- Drive awareness, footfall and repeat business
Compliance, Systems & Safety
- Ensure health & safety standards are maintained at all times

- Operational and launch milestones
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience managing a hospitality, leisure or customer-focused venue
- Strong commercial mindset with experience managing KPIs and performance
- Strong IT / systems capability – booking systems, troubleshooting issues and working with technology in a live environment
