We are seeking a lively and attentive Housekeeping Assistant to join our welcoming Housekeeping team at The Machrie. This seasonal full-time position runs from May to October and requires 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Work through allocated bedrooms and suites in a timely manner.
  • Ensure guests always find clean and inviting accommodation.
  • Follow procedures for signing keys in and out daily.
  • Keep corridors and common spaces clean and clutter-free.
  • Maintain clean and tidy linen cupboards.
  • Follow all health and safety, manual handling and COSHH procedures.
  • Assist new team members with training and development.
  • Collaborate with team to support efficient operations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Strong guest focus.
  • Experience in housekeeping or a similar role.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Availability to work weekends.
  • Valid driving licence (essential).
