Join Another Place Hotels as a Pizza Chef and work in The Glasshouse, a Victorian-style kitchen near the lake. You’ll prepare classic Italian pizzas using locally sourced ingredients and work closely with the hotel’s kitchen team.
Responsibilities
- Craft and work with pizza dough daily, from preparation through to service.
- Cook high‑quality pizzas throughout the day, maintaining consistency and meeting service pace.
- Collaborate with hotel chefs to manage stock, support ordering, and keep the kitchen running smoothly.
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient workspace in a fast‑paced, open kitchen environment.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with the team to create a positive, collaborative atmosphere from day one.
- Take pride in high standards, with a strong focus on food safety, hygiene and guest experience at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience working with a wood‑fired pizza oven, with a good understanding of heat control, timing and consistency.
- Food Hygiene certificate (obtainable upon employment).
- Flexible approach to working hours, comfortable with varied shift patterns in a busy hospitality environment.
- Genuine interest in food, with a passion for pizza and a desire to develop skills further.
- NVQ Level 1 & 2 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent) as a minimum.
