We’re looking for a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team at Another Place, The Lake. You’ll be central to the delivery of our seamless guest dining experience, where calm efficiency, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality come together.

You’ll support our day-to-day food and beverage service with care and professionalism, anticipating guests’ needs and ensuring every interaction feels effortless and welcoming. Working closely with the wider team, you’ll also maintain the high standards that allow our operation to run smoothly behind the scenes, so our guests can simply unwind, soak in the views, and lose themselves in the quiet joy of the moment.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Welcoming guests with warmth, friendliness, and professionalism, making every interaction feel effortless and genuine.
  • Hands-on across all areas of the restaurant, keeping things running smoothly and seamlessly.
  • Crafting hot and cold drinks with care and attention to detail.
  • Continuously growing your knowledge of our company, products, and menus and sharing your ideas to help us innovate and improve.
  • Taking part in team tasting sessions, giving you an authentic understanding of our menus to spark creativity, conversation, and team connection.
  • Keeping your workspace clean, tidy, and organised to ensure that both guests and team members feel at ease.
  • Looking after guest billing efficiently and accurately.
  • Supporting and mentoring new team members, sharing your skills and helping them thrive.
  • Collaborating as part of our dynamic, committed team, where flexibility, curiosity, and energy are combined.
