Our Demi Chef de Partie Role: We’re looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to support our Sous and Junior Sous Chefs at Another Place, The Lake. You’ll bring culinary precision, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail to the team, whilst ensuring high standards and consistent quality in daily food preparation across our two restaurants. There’s the Living Space – for easy lakeside eating, meeting and lounging – and our Rampsbeck Restaurant, inspired by the region’s produce – with dishes that showcase heritage ingredients and flavours rooted in place, expressed with contemporary flair. You’ll also be friendly, hardworking, and have excellent time-keeping skills that enable you to prioritise under pressure. With your culinary finesse and unwavering commitment, you'll be an integral part of delivering extraordinary dining experiences to our guests and oversee our purchase orders, ensuring that items arriving without authorisation are not received.

As our Demi Chef de Partie you’ll be:
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen areas.
- Preparing food and carrying out daily tasks as directed by our senior chefs.
- Coordinating tasks with our Sous Chef and Junior Chef.
- Setting up and preparing for service based on business needs.
- Monitoring production levels and checking food quality meets hygiene standards.
- Ensuring food is prepared and presented to a high standard at all times.
- Staying up to date with menu items, recipes, and presentation guidelines.
- Operating and maintaining kitchen equipment, reporting any issues.
- Checking expiry dates and ensuring proper food storage in line with regulations.
- Following instructions from supervisors and adhering to kitchen procedures.
- Maintaining knowledge of food preparation, storage, and sanitation standards.
- Handling and storing food correctly at appropriate temperatures.
- Supporting stock replenishment when needed.
- Assisting with all stages of food prep, storage, and service.
- Helping ensure the smooth running of the kitchen and back-of-house areas.
- Supporting and setting a positive example in the kitchen.
- Completing daily Risk Proof checks.
