As our Housekeeping Assistant, you’ll take pride in the details, from perfectly made beds and spotless bathrooms to ensuring all amenities are in place and linen is beautifully presented. In this role you will keep the pub running smoothly, creating an inviting environment for every guest. You’ll coordinate with colleagues to manage workloads efficiently, follow health and safety standards, and contribute to a team culture built on mutual support, respect, and excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Working through your allocated rooms in good time.
  • Ensuring guests always find clean and inviting accommodation.
  • Signing keys in and out daily according to procedures.
  • Keeping corridors outside rooms clean and clutter‑free.
  • Maintaining tidy linen cupboards.
  • Adhering to health and safety, manual handling, and COSHH procedures.
  • Supporting new team members and their training and development.
  • Collaborating as part of a committed, efficient, and dynamic team.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong guest focus.
  • Availability to work on weekends.
  • Experience in housekeeping or a similar role.
