maintenance team is responsible for maintaining the grounds, gardens,
allotments, buildings, and facilities at Another Place, The Lake, and this will
form your 40 hours contract.
The Role:
Reporting to the Facilities and Projects Manager, you will
be responsible for maintaining the hotel grounds, including gardens, borders,
fields, and parking areas to a high standard whilst supporting the maintenance
of the hotel. This role is full-time at 40 hours per week and includes emergency cover
if required.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee all aspects of gardening, including planting, pruning, weeding, watering, and nurturing the allotment.
- Ensure the highest possible presentation of the grounds, including leaf blowing, ground works, ordering seeds, plants, and gardening supplies, maintaining garden equipment, litter picking in public areas, attending relevant training, wearing the correct uniform, and reporting issues.
- Respond to fire alarms in accordance with procedures.
