We’re looking for a General Assistant to assist our team at The Brackenrigg Inn. You’ll live and breathe hospitality, become an advocate for our variety of locally sourced food and drink, and be an essential component to all the aspects that go into making a busy pub operation run like clockwork. This is a full-time position on a zero-hour contract.
Responsibilities- Assisting with day-to-day pub operations.
- Serving customers with a smile and providing great hospitality.
- Helping behind the bar and on the floor as needed.
- Keeping the pub clean, tidy, and welcoming.
- Supporting kitchen/food service during busy times.
- Polishing cutlery ready for our bar and waiting teams to use.
- Cleaning and sanitising our kitchens and back of house corridor floors.
- Washing and polishing glasses.
- Making sure our bar is fully stocked.
- Working in all areas of the restaurant and bar.
- Keeping your surrounding working area clean, tidy and organised.
- Working together as part of our committed, efficient and dynamic team.
