As the Chef de Partie at The Brackenrigg Inn, you'll bring culinary passion, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail to the team. Collaborating closely with the head chef, you'll craft innovative menus, oversee operations, and ensure top-notch food quality. What your days could look like:
- To assist the Executive Chef and Head Chef in the effective and efficient organisation, supervision and control of the kitchen operation, ensuring all kitchen team carry out their allotted duties to the required standards.
- To carry out the preparation, cooking and portioning of all food dishes including team meals to the required standards of quality and quantity.
- To maintain the required departmental standards and personal appearance, cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen areas.
- Compliance with all instructions given by immediate supervisor.
- Preparation for the day's business in accordance with projected need.
- Following all schedules within the kitchen and completion of daily check sheets and temperature logs.
- Assist colleagues in stocking up when necessary.
- Smooth running of all aspects of the kitchen and back of house areas.
- Responsible for undertaking the many tasks during the preparation, storage and service of food and the other associated tasks.
- Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and cleanliness whilst in the workplace.
- Maintain an organised, clean and safe workplace, not only for yourself but also for those around.

- Food Hygiene certificate.
