The Brand Manager will play a central role in shaping and scaling POSTER GIRL. This position sits at the intersection of creative vision, product strategy, and commercial performance, ensuring collections, brand storytelling, and market execution are aligned and impactful. Working closely with the Creative Directors, the role will help drive brand desirability, consistency, and long-term growth across wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels.

Merchandising & Commercial Performance

  • Manage product performance across wholesale and DTC channels, identifying opportunities and risks.
  • Work closely with Wholesale and E-commerce teams to curate assortments and to support and grow key accounts globally.
  • Oversee product setup, merchandising, and performance on Shopify, ensuring accuracy, strong presentation, and optimized product launches.
  • Use data and reporting from Shopify, Zedonk, and sales channels to guide buying decisions, reorders, and seasonal strategy.
  • Maintain accurate product data and reporting through Zedonk, acting as a key internal point of expertise.
  • Work closely with our digital marketing agency, to support campaigns, creative strategy, analyse reports, align budgets and oversee brand-building initiatives.

Brand Growth, Outreach & Collaborations

  • Proactively identify and outreach to potential collaborators, creatives, partners, and cultural touchpoints aligned with the brand.
  • Support and help shape collaborations, campaigns, special projects and manage brand activations.
  • Build and maintain strong external relationships that contribute to brand visibility and credibility within the fashion industry.

Brand & Product Strategy

  • Lead seasonal range planning and line plans, translating the founders creative direction into balanced, commercially successful collections.
  • Own pricing architecture and margin strategy, ensuring consistency with brand positioning driving profit.
  • Analyze sales, sell-through, and customer behaviour to inform future product decisions.
  • Ensure brand identity is clearly expressed through product, storytelling, and market presence.

Operational and Logistic Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all studio staff operations, overseeing team schedules, freelance timesheets, and invoice approvals to ensure accuracy against hours worked.
  • Manage recruitment and offboarding processes, including hiring, interviews, intern scheduling, and maintaining up-to-date employment contracts and NDAs.
  • Oversee supplier relationships and contractual agreements, ensuring commercially efficient operations and strong cost management across all business functions.
  • Maintain exceptional organisational standards and clear, efficient communication across internal teams and external partners.
  • Coordinate and optimise all inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring shipments from factories to fulfilment centres and stockists are managed via the most cost-effective and efficient routes.

Skills & Experience & Responsibilities

  • 6–8+ years experience in brand management, merchandising, operational or product roles within a fashion or luxury environment.
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills with advanced Excel capability.
  • Confident working with Shopify, including product merchandising, reporting, and launch execution.
  • Advanced knowledge of Zedonk.
  • Experience negotiating logistics and operational contracts across the business (including insurance, utilities, security, and premises) to achieve best commercial outcomes.
  • HR responsibilities ensuring appraisals are completed on time and maintaining accurate holiday, absenteeism, and attendance records.
  • Highly organised, detail-driven, and an excellent communicator.
  • Culturally aware, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-growing, creatively led fashion brand.
