About us

At Another Avenue, we exist to close the digital skills gap and empower career changers, founders, and freelancers to thrive in the modern economy. We deliver award-winning, industry-led skills bootcamps that equip learners with the knowledge, confidence and hands-on experience needed to grow in digital marketing and business fundamentals.

We believe that access to high-quality education shouldn’t depend on background or privilege. Our programs, including Digital Marketing Bootcamps, Business Fundamentals Bootcamps, and The Fearless Accelerator, are designed to adapt to local demand and regional expansion. We partner closely with employers to ensure that our curriculum aligns with real business needs and that graduates are connected to meaningful opportunities.

The Role

We’re seeking a dedicated and learner-focused Digital Marketing Tutor/Mentor to join our team. You’ll work closely with learners on a one-to-one basis to review progress, mark work and provide constructive feedback while supporting them to develop essential digital marketing knowledge and skills. Delivery will take place both face-to-face and online (via Zoom), so confidence and adaptability in both settings is essential.

What you’ll be doing

  • Deliver engaging training and mentoring sessions on digital marketing topics (branding, social media, SEO, copywriting, influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, etc.) both in person and online (via Zoom).
  • Conduct regular one-to-one reviews with learners to assess progress, identify gaps and set SMART targets.
  • Mark submitted work accurately and provide clear, constructive written and verbal feedback to help learners improve.
  • Adapt learning and assessment approaches to suit different learner needs and levels.
  • Maintain accurate records of learner progress, reviews, feedback and outcomes.
  • Provide ongoing support, guidance and encouragement to help learners develop confidence and achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with the talent and partnerships teams to align learning with industry needs and employment opportunities.
  • Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and integrate them into your teaching.
  • Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of the role.

What we expect from you

  • Proven experience in digital marketing with a solid understanding of multiple channels.
  • Confident delivering sessions both face-to-face and via Zoom.
  • Experience of training, mentoring or coaching learners (or willingness to develop this).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to give clear, actionable feedback.
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • Proficiency with digital platforms for tracking learner progress and marking work.
  • Passion for supporting learners from diverse backgrounds.
  • Alignment with our values of innovation, excellence, collaboration and empowerment.

Desirable:

  • Recognised teaching/assessing qualification (AET/PTLLS or equivalent).
  • Experience working within funded training programmes (Skills Bootcamps/apprenticeships).
