We’re currently supporting TotalEnergies on the Absheron Gas Field Development and looking to speak with experienced Materials & Welding Engineers interested in working on a major international project.
This is taking the project through FEED and then into EPC.
This is a great opportunity to work with a leading operator, at their EPC site or from the HQ in Paris.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support on materials selection, welding procedures, and fabrication standards
- Review and validate WPS, PQRs, and material certification documents
- Ensure compliance with project specs and international standards (ASME, API, ISO etc.)
- Support vendor qualification and fabrication follow-up
- Liaise with engineering, QA/QC, and construction teams to resolve welding/materials issues
- Maintain documentation and traceability for all welding and materials activities
Qualifications
- Degree in Welding, Materials, or Mechanical Engineering
- 10+ years in oil & gas project environments, preferably with operators or large EPCs
- Strong background in welding and fabrication for topsides/subsea projects
- Knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.)
- Previous experience of TotalEnergies is required
- Fluent English essential; French a bonus
