The EICT Lead will lead and coordinate Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Telecom (EICT) activities for an FPSO project, ensuring effective coordination between engineering, construction, commissioning, vendors, and project teams. The role will be responsible for technical coordination, progress monitoring, interface management, and ensuring EICT activities are delivered safely and in line with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate EICT engineering, construction, and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate interfaces between Electrical, Instrumentation, ICSS, Telecom, and other project disciplines.
- Review EICT engineering deliverables, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, subcontractors, and the project team.
- Monitor EICT progress, identify potential issues, and support timely resolution.
- Support FAT, SAT, inspections, testing, commissioning, and start-up activities.
- Ensure EICT installations and activities comply with project specifications, standards, and HSE requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to EICT engineers and supervisors.
- Manage technical queries, interfaces, and engineering/construction issues.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular progress updates to the project/commissioning management.
- Support successful handover of EICT systems to commissioning and operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree or diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Strong experience in EICT/E&I projects within Oil & Gas.
- Must have previous experience on FPSO, offshore, or major brownfield/greenfield projects.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering, construction, and commissioning activities.
- Good knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, control, and telecom systems.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
