This role will be responsible for overseeing ICT (Information & Communication Technology) engineering and commissioning activities, ensuring the successful integration, testing, and delivery of telecommunications, network, and control systems on FPSO projects in line with project requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate ICT engineering and commissioning activities for FPSO telecom, network, and control systems.
- Ensure ICT systems (voice, data, fiber optic, CCTV, access control, radio, and marine comms) are installed, tested, and commissioned safely and efficiently.
- Review ICT design documentation, commissioning procedures, system dossiers, and completion records.
- Coordinate closely with construction, engineering, vendors, and operations teams to ensure system integration and readiness.
- Support FAT, SAT, loop testing, integration testing, and system handover activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ICT systems during installation and commissioning phases.
- Monitor progress of ICT completion activities and ensure alignment with project schedule and milestones.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in ICT/Telecom commissioning within FPSO, offshore, or Oil & Gas projects.
- Strong knowledge of industrial communication systems, telecom networks, fiber optics, and offshore ICT infrastructure.
- Experience with integrated control systems, marine communication systems, and security systems (CCTV, access control).
- Previous experience in a lead or supervisory ICT commissioning role preferred.
- Familiarity with commissioning processes, system completion, and handover documentation.
- Excellent coordination, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
